farewell.

"the easiest way to control a people is to deny them a history. another is to falsify a history that demeans one's past. therefore minimizing present achievement."

we've got to fight the powers that be!

The World's Hardest Game EVER!!!!

If you have an "addictive" nature and a busy schedule, then I don't recommend you playing this game. It will consume your entire being of existence and you will become something like a Crack Addict. And if you don't believe me then check it out here. The Worlds Hardest Game Ever.

ride the trane.

you know how every once and a while you realize that you make specific references to a certain something?

today i realized that the past couple of posts i've made on this blog just so happened to be song titles to great songs (see my most recent Supreme "a love supreme." and Louis Vuitton "these are a few of my favorite things." posts -- click on song titles to listen to the songs, we HIGHLY suggest it) by legendary Saxophonist, John Coltrane.

influences like those, happen for a reason. especially when your life is so controlled by how music inspires you how Saalik and my own are. music to us is arguably the most important motivational aspect to our everyday agendas. very rarely will you see us without our trusty iPod's as we're on the go, pounding pavement in the crazy city streets.

i remember when my father introduced John Coltrane to me at an early age. as a youngster i tended to stray towards oldies and jazz more than anything, as i felt it was more easier on my ears. to this day, i rather kick back and listen to some smooth jazz and relax -- it's soothing. especially in these tough times that are being transcended on this end.

if you aren't up on John Coltrane, i highly suggest you run over to imeem or hollar at me, and i'll up some classic Coltrane.

hit the deck!

the obsession ensues. . .

ladies first.

well, here it is -- the highly anticipated collaboration Hellz Bellz and Stussy -- for the ladies.

run to your local Stussy on the 7th of March and pick up some items.

these are a few of my favorite things.

Louis Vuitton has commissioned old school, and legendary UK graffiti artist Skam 1 as well as local artist Reyes from Seventh Letter in tribute for the Steven Sprouse campaigns going on across the world at Louis Vuitton stores.

Skam worked on his piece for the Toronto flagship store as Reyes created his piece for the store out here in San Francisco.

be on the lookout for more things of this nature coming soon from Louie, as they have been on a collaboration frenzy as of late.

it's always nice to see writers and artists alike getting publicized and not vilified for there talents, especially when it's something on a grand of a scale as Louis Vuitton.

props to both Skam and Reyes.

is there a doctor in the house?

Dr. Romanelli is a MASTERFUL garment re-constructor. well known for his ability to take two items and fuse them together into one masterpiece of clothing.

this collection is fresh off the heels of his collaboration with local brand HUF, which features crafted classic collegiate sweatshirts and Letterman jackets from the 1940’s to the 1980’s integrated with down vests.

a love supreme.

Supreme's gargantuan S/S '09 collection.

some very nice pieces, indeed -- as well as some very disappointing pieces. but hey, hypebeasts world wide are creaming their skinny little pants with excitement.
