Creative Control: Sessions at DD172 + BlackRoc Project Album Sampler

Looks like Dame Dash has something up his sleeves once again. "The DD172 space is an artistic epicenter where every passing instant becomes one of consequence and Creative Control is the lens that brings those glaring moments into focus. Creative Control, the brainchild of Directors Coodie and Chike and media mogul Dame Dash is an online media network bringing you original web series and music shot by the artists themselves. The series Sessions at DD172 will be an exhibition of talent caught candidly as they pass through the space curated by Dame Dash. Spotlighting artists like Mos Def, The Black Keys, Zoe Kravitz, and commencing with the release of the Black Roc Project, Creative Control will view the cross section of talent of all genres from every angle." The full project will be launching on November 27th. The Black Roc Project is the brainchild of Dame Dash and The Black Keys and features emcees Mos Def, Raekwon, Q-Tip, ODB, RZA, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, Ludacris, Billy Danze, and more (check the album sampler after the jump). Also after the jump are a few more creative control clips featuring Zoe Kravitz, Tash, and Om'Mas.

The Tenderloin Project

Growing up in San Francisco you get to witness some pretty fascinating and grueling things during your time here. Some good and some bad, some memorable and some not so much. But one thing you'll never forget about San Francisco, whether you're born and raised here (like myself) or just passing through, is the homeless problem we have. The visuals you can witness in a matter of seconds walking out of your front door can be enough to make you want to cry...or vomit depending on how strong of a stomach you have. Anyway, my homies over at Black Scale are in collaboration with The Tenderloin Project to try and make proceeds to give back to these struggling individuals and then some.

Shout out to Mega and Dae over at Black Scale by the way.
