Since these madcap movies exist only in his imagination, Kevin has brought Yuki’s world to life through a collection of original artwork, stories, and an animated trailer.

For their second book, Fleet Street brought together an all-star cast of artist friends to tell Yuki’s story. 14 artists render Yuki and her world in their own styles and mediums, filmmaker Stephane Coedel assembled Kevin’s film stills into an action packed trailer, and author Ada Cole imagines what the world said about Yuki 7 during her heyday. In true behind-the-scenes style, the book showcases international movie posters, props, production stills, magazine snippets and interviews, making-of stories, and film synopses.

With evocative names like A Kiss from Tokyo, Danger is a Female, Roman Rendezvous and To Catch a Temptress, these films will soon be among your favorites, too.

The book has a first edition run of 2,000 copies. 100 will be available as a Collector’s Edition with a slipcase, mini prints, and more. 72 pages, oversized soft cover. Also available is a Yuki 7 t-shirt featuring the French movie poster for A Kiss From Tokyo.

A Field Guide to Common North American Phobias by Julia Icenogle takes a comedic look at common phobias. These illustrations are nicely done. I'm going to have to get a copy of my own.

I know I wasn't the only child that suffered from this one. I know adults that are still afraid of needles. Of all people gangsta ass Snoop Dogg is one of them!!! I was so afraid of needles as a kid the doctor, nurses and my Mom had to hold me down in order to give me a shot. LOL

"Art"chitecture part 1

Growing up as an artist you find a love for everything that has to do with design and creativity. With that being said I've always had a love for "Art"chitecture. When someone finds it within themselves to go beyond the norm of building an average everyday home and pushes the boundaries of one's living space... it's magic to my eyes. So when I stumbled across these homes on Archdaily.com... I damn near had an orgasm in my eyeballs.

Each house I chose represents me in some shape or fashion. From my introverted personality all the way to my Indiana Jones mind set. And the funny thing about that Indiana Jones metaphor is that the hole only gets deeper the more you get to know me. Which is probably why I don't have many "friends". LOL

Nobrow - Gods and Monsters

There's something about simple illustrations with a complex feel and crazy underlying message that brings me back to childhood. So when I saw this book I had to share. It has a Cartoon Network Adult Swim feel to it. You can get your copy of Gods and Monsters here.

Hakuchi Manga Illustrations

A mix a Japanese traditions and modern style, Shohei Otomo (Hakuchi) manga illustrations are pretty amazing. Seeing these illustrations makes me want to go out to my garage and paint.
